Shortest option. First viewpoint on the R-D Trail and back.

Short R-D Out-and-Back

Red blazes to the first major viewpoint. Great half-day trip.

Tuxedo Loop to Lake Sebago

6.7 mi Moderate 3.5–4 hrs

Lake Sebago, Almost Perpendicular viewpoint. Classic Harriman.

R-D + Triangle Trail Loop

Harriman Shuttle Bus

Runs weekends and holidays in season. Meets the ~10:17 AM train, departs 10:45 AM. $5/seat.

Figure-eight loop through Harriman hitting multiple trailheads — take the shuttle out, hike back to the station. Point-to-point hikes, no car needed.

600 Route 17A — ~3 miles from the station. Mid-August through early October, weekends only. 65 acres, 20 stages, 100+ shops.
